What evidence is needed before imported plasterboard is offered?
A general certificate, paper colour or factory catalogue is not enough to support every product claim. The evidence must identify the exact board, the tested specimen, its intended use and the conditions and limitations that apply.
The current site presents a supplier product brief and an enquiry route. It does not yet publish a completed per-SKU BPIR disclosure or claim that every thickness and facing has the same test scope.
THE EVIDENCE PACK
Six groups need to match the quoted SKU.
Brand, product-line name, exact model or identifier, thickness, dimensions, edge, facing, batch or production reference and country of manufacture.
Legal and trading name, physical and service address, public website and technical contact details that match the product documents.
Per-SKU mass, physical properties, packaging, handling, storage, installation method, finishing, maintenance and stated limitations.
Full report rather than a badge or certificate screenshot, including laboratory, accreditation, report number, date, tested specimen and exact scope.
A clear description of where the exact board is intended to be used and the complete-system conditions that must also be satisfied.
The responsible NZ importer details and the required public product information, including relevant Building Code clauses, contribution, limitations and installation requirements.

Check the report, not just the standard number.
- Does the report name the exact product line and tested thickness?
- Does the specimen construction match the board being quoted?
- Is the laboratory and accreditation information visible?
- Are the report date, issue status and full results available?
- Are the claimed uses limited to what the evidence actually supports?
BPIR
Product information must be public and product-specific.
New Zealand's building product information requirements place obligations on New Zealand-based manufacturers, importers, wholesalers, retailers and distributors. For overseas products, the responsible New Zealand importer details and required product information must be addressed before supply.

The written order route must identify the exact product, evidence status, intended scope, limitations, price basis, importer responsibility and the documents that apply to the supplied board.
