GUIDE / THICKNESS SELECTION
10mm or 13mm plasterboard?
Use the thickness specified for the project unless the responsible designer or system documentation confirms a change. Thickness is only one product attribute and does not, by itself, establish fire, moisture, bracing, acoustic or ceiling suitability.
A 10mm board from one product line is not automatically interchangeable with another 10mm board, and a thicker board is not automatically approved for a proprietary wall or ceiling system.
QUOTE COMPARISON
Ask the same questions for both thicknesses.

Five details prevent a false comparison.
- The thickness and product line shown on the plans or specification
- Whether the sheets are for walls, ceilings or another documented use
- Sheet width, length, edge and estimated quantity
- Any fire, moisture, bracing, acoustic or other system requirement
- Plans, schedule extracts or technical documents that identify the intended assembly
Panelform will add per-SKU mass, packaging and handling data only after the matching supplier technical documents are verified. Do not use a generic internet weight to plan labour or delivery.
NEXT STEP
Send the specified thickness.
Add the project location, quantity and any plan or system reference. The written reply will identify what is confirmed and what still needs product evidence.
