A board-only unit price is not the amount a project pays to receive usable sheets at site. Harbour Lining Supply builds the quote from the exact board, shipment route and Auckland delivery conditions that can be confirmed.

Harbour Lining Supply does not publish a made-up delivered price. Quantity, board specification, freight timing, import responsibility, site address, access and unloading can all change the quote.

Board supply

The exact product, thickness, dimensions, edge treatment, quantity, packaging and current stock check.

Sea freight

The shipment route and freight basis. The current supplier price does not include sea freight.

Import items

The party responsible for clearance, GST, duty if applicable, port charges and other shipment costs must be identified.

Import-lot allocation

Customers can request any quantity. For an order below the current 200-sheet supplier lot, the quote identifies the confirmed fulfilment route and related cost basis.

Auckland delivery

The delivery address, timing, truck access and handover point determine the local route.

Unloading and storage

HIAB, extra labour, waiting, carrying, weather protection and storage are separate unless included in writing.

Commercial terms

The quote shows every payment amount, remaining balance, due milestone and refund condition, including any refundable 10% reservation before an import lot is confirmed.

One-working-day first response

Send the product, quantity, Auckland destination and required date. The first reply confirms the information received and identifies the commercial or delivery inputs still needed. A complete landed price follows only when the relevant inputs can be confirmed.

ORDER SEQUENCE

Reservation is separate from supplier procurement.

  1. Enquire. Send the exact board, quantity, destination, access and required date.
  2. Review and accept the written quote. Check the included costs, exclusions, estimated timing, product evidence, delivery basis and payment milestones.
  3. Reserve only if the lot is unconfirmed. Any initial 10% is refundable while the 200-sheet import lot remains unconfirmed and is credited toward the first 60%.
  4. Confirm the order gates. The import lot, exact SKU and required product evidence must be confirmed before supplier procurement.
  5. Bring cleared payments to 60%. Harbour Lining Supply starts supplier procurement only after the confirmed order and first-stage payment are complete.
  6. Pay 30% at the stated shipment milestone. The accepted quote identifies whether this is shipping, arrival or clearance and what record supports it.
  7. Pay the final 10% before delivery. Harbour Lining Supply then coordinates the agreed Auckland release or local handover.

Divide the complete landed total by the confirmed usable sheet count for a delivered cost per sheet. For a 1200 × 2400 mm sheet, divide that figure by 2.88 for a delivered cost per square metre before cuts and waste.

03Does a plasterboard price include Auckland delivery?

Only when the written quote says so. Product, sea freight, import items, local delivery, unloading, extra labour and GST basis should be checked separately before comparing prices.

04Can I request a quote for fewer than 200 sheets?

Yes. Customers can request any quantity. The current 200-sheet figure is a supplier import-lot requirement, not a customer minimum, and the quote identifies the confirmed fulfilment route.
