Send one project brief for the board, delivery and installation scope. We prepare the materials route and coordinate a separate fixing or fixing-and-stopping quote from a named independent local installer.
Harbour Lining Supply does not claim an in-house fixing or stopping crew. Unless a final written quote expressly says otherwise, the customer contracts with and pays the appointed installer directly. The installer's identity, scope, qualifications or licence where relevant, insurance position, warranty and exclusions are confirmed before installation work is accepted.

THE PROCESS
From project brief to handover.
- Send plans, dimensions or photos. Include the suburb, surfaces, required date and the finish you need.
- Screen the product and system. Confirm the exact board and flag fire, bracing, acoustic, moisture or consent requirements for professional review.
- Arrange installer review. The proposed independent installer reviews the information and visits the site when measurement or access cannot be confirmed remotely.
- Receive separated written quotes. Materials, freight, delivery, fixing, stopping, GST, exclusions and payment milestones are shown under the correct party.
- Accept and schedule. Product procurement and installation are not booked until the relevant written quote is accepted and its stated payment conditions are met.
- Deliver, install and hand over. Site readiness, variations, workmanship checks and required completion documents are recorded against the agreed scope.

No flat online rate is promised. A plasterboard fixing price is not comparable with a fixing-and-stopping price, and a stopping rate does not include board, freight or delivery unless the quote says so.

- Legal name, NZBN or trading identity and current contact details
- Relevant experience, real project examples and verifiable customer references
- Public liability insurance position and written workmanship warranty
- LBP status where restricted building work is involved
- Relevant trade membership or qualification only when independently verified
- Site safety, variation, defect, cleanup and handover responsibilities in writing
For residential building work costing NZ$30,000 or more including GST, a written contract and prescribed disclosure information are required. We use a written scope below that threshold as well. If lining forms part of restricted building work, the appropriately licensed person must carry out or supervise it and provide any required record. 01Do you employ the installer?+
No in-house crew is claimed. We coordinate an independent installer quote and disclose who is responsible before acceptance.
02Can I get a per-m² price?+
We first need the surfaces, site condition, access and finish scope. The written quote then separates supply, fixing and stopping.
03Is this GIB installation?+
“GIB fixing” is a common search term, but GIB is a brand. Our quote names the actual non-GIB product and does not imply GIB brand supply.
